Spring Sports Tryouts 2021

Spring Sports tryouts begin February 16th, 2021. In order for interested 7th and 8th graders to be able to tryout, they must do the following:

• Athletes must complete the online Spring Sports Sign-ups by February 5th, 2021. Spring Sports Tryouts Sign Up Form

• Athletes must email and request each of their teachers to complete a Student Grades Survey by February 9th, 2021 . (This information will be emailed to athletes the first week of February, after completing the Spring Sports Signups form).

• Athletes must have all Pre-participation forms completed, birth certificate and physical form uploaded on PlanetHS by February 11th, 2021. NO PAPER COPIES ACCEPTED!! Students will receive an email from Coach Burrell when all PlanetHS forms are submitted and approved. If your forms are not submitted and approved in PlanetHS by February 11th, you will NOT be allowed to tryout. Please see the PlanetHS announcement on the website. PlanetHS Directions

• Students must have all preparticipation forms completed and their physical form and birth certificate uploaded into their PlanetHS account. Please use the attached updated Athletics Physical Form. The evaluation page must be completed by a physician.
• Athletes must also turn in the attached COVID-19 Waiver form to on their first day of tryouts.

Parent Resource through Graduation Alliance

The South Carolina Department of Education has partnered with Graduation Alliance to provide an extra layer of support for students in grades k-12 and their families who might be struggling with these changes. Students who choose to participate in the program will get an academic coach to work with them to answer questions, connect them with resources, and develop a plan to stay on track this school year.
