It was, and still is our primary motivation. We launched in May 2010 as the very first Online Bingo Charity site. One of the unique parts of Pink Ribbon Bingo is the Team Bingo option, which is a nice fit for this website considering the solidarity and camaraderie involved in raising money for causes such as breast cancer. Many people host sponsored social events or sign up for 10K runs with other people for support, and this is almost the same. Pink Ribbon Bingo bingo card with pink, courage, faith, love, yearly exam, self exam, hope, ribbon, wigs and hats. Pink Ribbon Bingo has good intentions at heart with their colourful Bingo and underlying worthy cause. This is a good place to play Bingo and a nice way to support a great cause. If PRB were just another Bingo site (without the charity), then it would be a good but ordinary site.

Back in January, we announced that we’re sponsoring the Breast Walk Ever events hosted and organised by Against Breast Cancer. Due to the cancellation of the races, our partner charity has taken them online. We’re very proud to be sponsoring The Virtual Breast Walk Ever challenge!
What is The Virtual Breast Walk Ever?
In short, we’re asking you to walk 1 mile for every donation you receive via your JustGiving.com page.
Throughout October, during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, The Virtual Breast Walk Ever will take place across the United Kingdom.
You have 31 days to complete the challenge. This starts from October 1st but you can already fundraise!
How can I take part?
Taking part in The Virtual Breast Walk Ever is very straight forward. Just follow these simple steps:
Pink Ribbon Bingo
- Go to JustGiving.com and create and an account.
- Create a Fundraising Page.
- Share your fundraising page on social media.
- Search for the items on the Checklist and a picture of them all to Against Breast Cancer via social media or through events@againstbreastcancer.org.uk to be entered into a prize draw!
How will the money raised be used?
Virtual Breast Walk Ever is a campaign by Against Breast Cancer to help fund cutting edge research into secondary spread breast cancer in the UK.
At Oxford University, Against Breast Cancer has established a Fellowship Programme to support and develop young scientists who perform innovative research into increasing survival rates after breast cancer (Professor Crispin was the first such recipient of this award).
They are also working with NHS digital and other partners to make available to other research groups the data, blood and urine samples they’ve collected over a 16 year period. Their diet & lifestyle clinical trial which was the largest of its kind in Europe and involved Against Breast Cancer recruiting over 3000 women all 1 year post diagnosis through a network of 56 NHS hospitals across the UK.
Against Breast Cancer firmly believes that major research advances require a long-term vision. They have committed to support their research team in Oxford and Southampton for the next decade. Pink Ribbon Bingo is proud to be able to their part in ensuring the continued success in the research of secondary spread from breast cancer.
